Senior Business Development Manager, Randers


Do you want to take lead on strategic projects to secure growth in Tulip Food Company’s International markets?  

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager for Tulip Food Company. You will have an excellent business development toolbox from top tier management consulting or a large international organization.

Tulip is a part of the Danish Crown group and markets processed meat products to the retail, fast food and food service sectors as well as the food industry in the Danish and International markets. As our new Senior Business Development Manager, you will report directly to Senior Vice President, International Sales. Your key role will be a strategic corporate function for the International markets. The position is placed in Randers but also involves interaction with subsidiaries in Germany, Italy, France, Norway, Sweden, China and Japan.

The Position

As Senior Business Development Manager you will play a key role in supporting the leadership team in order to take the organization to the next level. More precise your main responsibility will be implementing our 2021 strategy across sales units and the whole value chain.

The specific tasks are:

Lead profitable growth strategies as well as business and process improvement initiatives

Reporting and follow up on strategy and performance centrally and at business unit level

Facilitate and participate in leadership meetings nationally and internationally

Prepare presentations and business cases for Executive Management Meeting, Board meetings and other meetings

Overall and in depth analyze of strategic business initiatives cross sales channels

Lastly, you can expect around 30 travel days per year.

The Candidate

We are looking for an outstanding ambitious candidate, who will see this as an opportunity to take his/her carrier to the next level. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree perhaps within marketing, finance or business administration and preferably has experience from a leading strategy consulting company or large international organization. You have a proven track record in business analysis and strategy development. We expect that you are fluent in English.

As a person, you are strategic and have an analytical mind-set. A success criteria of the job is to have confidence and authority to build relationships across functions and business units as well as excellent communications and interpersonal skills, which is used systematically to build organisational support for strategy and key initiatives. Furthermore, you are proficient in transforming numbers and analytical information into high level presentations, that are understandable and well communicated to everyone.
